Adding RSS News in Detail Page

The RSS blocks in IndexU script is very flexible. We can use this feature to offer link owner a rss resource for news / article in their link detail page, so they will get more benefit for listing their site in your directory. You can make this available for all listing, or for PREMIUM / SPONSORED listing only.

Here is the installation guide :

1. Create a custom field through IndexU Admin Panel
   Content visible to member only. Please register or login first.

2. Next, edit your detail_link.html and add the following code :
   Content visible to member only. Please register or login first.

   If you want this to available for PREMIUM / SPONSORED listing only, simply change it like this :

   Content visible to member only. Please register or login first.

   The above code will retrieve 5 news item and will cache them for 1 day.
   You may want to change the parameters to suit your need.

3. One last details.
   By default, IndexU show these custom fields in the "sort" filter on your browse page. So, you might want to turn it off.
   Edit browse.html template file.
   Change :
   Content visible to member only. Please register or login first.

   To :

   Content visible to member only. Please register or login first.

Done.
Simple isn't it :)
