AJAX Rating Mods

This is one nice mods that requested by our member. The purpose of this mods is to replace the standard IndexU rating system with the one that based on AJAX to make it better. Now user can rate a link directly from detail page without leaving.

Members can download this mods for FREE here (you’ll need to login first).

Here is the installation step :

1. Unzip and upload the ajax-rating-mods.zip file to the corresponding IndexU folder.

2. Modify your detail_link.html template, replace the standard rating there with ajax rating blocks call.

The blocks is using the default "kosmos" layout. So if you use other themes, you'll need to adjust the template files a little bit.

To change the star image, simply replace the /ajaxrating/rating.gif file.
To adjust the layout, you can edit /themes/kosmos/blocks/block.ajax_rating.html file.
