Alexa Rank Mods

This mods purpose is to retrieve alexa rank for certain website. The method is similar with the "Google, Yahoo and MSN stats" that we released few months ago. To minimize request to alexa server, we add a simple cache mechanism for this. We'll need to create another new table ito store alexa rank in this regards.

Here is the installation step :

1. Unzip and upload the alexa-rank-mods.zip file to your IndexU folder.
2. We need to create new table, you can use PHPMyAdmin or using IndexU Advanced Query Box (Admin Panel > Database > Query) in this regards.

   Run the following query :

3. Next, simply edit your detail_link.html template to call the script :

Done :)
It should be very simple, probably take 5 - 10 minutes to install.

The data will be cached with the same time period you cache the Google PR in your IndexU (Admin Panel > Option > Setup > Pagerank Cache). If you want to use different time period, simply edit the alexarank.php script, and adjust the $alexa_cache variable.
