Get Rated with AJAX
After the release of AJAX Rating Mods couple of months ago, we receive suggestion from our members to implement this mods in IndexU "Get Rated" section. So the site owner could place this widget in their site and allow its visitor to rate the site directly without leaving. The mods is available now, we hope it is useful for you.
Members can download this mods for FREE here (you’ll need to login first).
Here is the installation step :
- Unzip and upload the get-rated-with-ajax.zip file to the corresponding IndexU folder.
- Modify get_rated_code.html to include this widget.
Change :To :
The mods is using the default "kosmos" layout. So if you use other themes, you'll need to adjust the template files.
Quite easy mods and there's no core IndexU files affected in this mods.

will this still provide a good backlink when website owners place it on their site?

Yes, as you can see in the step 2.
The rating image it self will not provide backlink since it is made with javascript, but there's HTML part above it that point to your site ("If you like our website, please rate it at ...").

Hi.. This only works weel on the indexu script domain.. If I call it from another domain, I can see the starts all all text, but when I click to vote it stays the icon loading.gif starts and it stays forever. The vote never count. What could be wrong?? Thanks

Seems you're still using the old version, this issue has been fixed last month.
Try re-download the zip file again, and let us know if the problem still arise.
