IndexU OFF Mods

This is an interesting mods, and it is requested by one of our member here. The purpose of this mods is to shutdown your IndexU directory for public user. Usually we need to do this when performing update or maintenance in directory. The site will be closed for public visitor, but admin still have the ability to view the entire site as usual with a small reminder at top and bottom of the page. The mods can be turned OFF or ON and the message can be customized easily from admin panel.

Members can download this mods for FREE here (you’ll need to login first).

Here is the installation step :

1. Unzip and upload indexu-off-mods.zip in corresponding IndexU folder.
2. Edit the init.php file :
   Change :
   Content visible to member only. Please register or login first.

   To :

   Content visible to member only. Please register or login first.

3. CHMOD 777 to indexu_off.cfg.php file to store configuration.
4. If you want this mods to be available in admin left panel menu, simply add this on /admin_tpl/menu.html file.
   Change :
   Content visible to member only. Please register or login first.

   To :

   Content visible to member only. Please register or login first.

Done.
The installation should be very easy, probably takes 5 - 10 minutes.
