Popular Category Blocks

The purpose of this blocks is to show the most popular categories in your site. This blocks is similar with the "hot listing" blocks that available in IndexU, but this one is for category. IndexU already store the hits data for every category, so we do not need new table for this.
Members can download this mods for FREE here (you’ll need to login first).
Here is the installation step :
1. Unzip and upload the popular-category-blocks.zip file to the corresponding IndexU folder.
2. Then you can call this blocks anywhere within your templates. Here is the blocks call :
About the blocks parameter :
- title : the block title
- max_item : the number of category to show
As usual, the blocks is using the default "kosmos" layout. So if you use other themes, you'll need to adjust the template files a little bit.
