Premium Listing Page

In our site, we have a special page dedicated for Premium Listings. The purpose of this page is to give more value on premium listings so hopefully it can boost sales. Seems many of our members have interest on this one, so we decide to write it up.

Here is how to do it :

1. You need to create a custom page. Go to IndexU Admin Panel > Template Manager > Edit Active Template > Add New Custom Template
2. Set the file name to : premium.html
3. Then replace the "Put your content here" text with the following :
   Content visible to member only. Please register or login first.

   If you're using sponsored listings in your directory, you can change the block call above with this :

   Content visible to member only. Please register or login first.

   You may change the "title" and "max_item" parameter to suits you.

4. You'll need to change the "title", "meta_keywords", and "meta_description" to make it better for SEO purposes.
5. And finally we need to do a little tweak on .htaccess file to make it more search engine friendly.
   Change :
   Content visible to member only. Please register or login first.

   To :

   Content visible to member only. Please register or login first.

   Now you can access your premium page like this :
   http://www.yourindexudomain.com/premium.php

If you wish to use another name instead of "premium", you can simply adjust the step 2 and 5 to use whatever name you like.
