RSS Lookup Mods

After we release a mods for adding RSS to detail page early in this month, one of our members asked for a mods that can check all links in IndexU database and try to lookup their RSS feed if available. The RSS feed then will be added in custom field that were used in our previous mods. This is very interesting idea, so we decide to build this mods first.

Members can download this mods for FREE here (you’ll need to login first).

Here is the installation guide :

1. Unzip and upload rss-lookup-mods.zip in corresponding IndexU folder.
2. Adjust the $rss_custom_field variable in the script, same as your custom field name in previous mods.
3. Now, simply run it through your browser.
   Content visible to member only. Please register or login first.

Done.

This is just a helper mods, and should be used only once, just to fill the existing links database with their RSS feeds.
After its done, you should remove this from your server.
