Yahoo News Mods

A couple months ago we release a "Adding RSS in Categories and Tags Page" mods. This one is the alternative, it is serving the same purpose but using the official webservice that provided by Yahoo. It is more advanced than the first one, since we add some additional option on this one.

Members can download this mods for FREE here (you’ll need to login first).

Here is the installation guide :

1. Unzip and upload yahoo-news-mods.zip in corresponding IndexU folder.
2. For browse categories page, edit your browse.html template and add the following :
   Content visible to member only. Please register or login first.

3. For browse tags page, edit your browsetag.html template and add the following :
   Content visible to member only. Please register or login first.

A few notes :

• Replace yahoo_app_id with your own Application ID (you can get it here).
• For languages, you can find supported language here.
• The mods is built based on "kosmos" template, so you'll need to adjust it a little bit with your own template.
